One nation, every ability, on the same mats

Working with Special Olympics New Zealand and our parent global organisation, the International Inclusive Taekwon-Do Association (IITA), we support affiliated clubs across the country through structured standards, safeguarding policies and clear development pathways.

Our focus is simple: to build confident, capable individuals through inclusive training environments that uphold technical integrity, fairness and long-term growth.

Working alongside Special Olympics New Zealand

Special Olympics New Zealand offers sports training and competition for people of all ages with an intellectual disability. Our work alongside them means more athletes can discover authentic Taekwon-Do and step onto the mats with confidence.

Internationally we are part of the International Inclusive Taekwon-Do Association, which connects inclusive Taekwon-Do in 34 member countries.

In 2025 our athletes travelled to Jesolo, Italy for the 3rd Inclusive Taekwon-Do World Championships. They competed alongside athletes from around the world and came home with medals.
